Growing up in East New York, Brooklyn the only child of a strict Correctional Officer for a mother. Sarina Mack, M.Ed., LMSW is a Mental Health Clinician who has spent her life helping people grow, learn, and figure out their worth but she could not figure out her own. No longer in the grips of fear; she escaped despair, insurmountable obstacles, and circumstances that altered her mental and physical health. All of which was triggered by the stress of hiding her true self. She has traveled through many personal transformations to present a story of truth, transparency, personal growth, and self-discovery.
Sarina is the mother of three Kings, and she takes pride in raising them to be productive men. She enjoys helping other children reach their full potential as well. Although her calling from God is to help others; inside she was being stifled. While helping others find their truth, she was not living hers.
Sarina’s journey to her truth took her through many trials and tribulations. Separating from her now ex-husband Sarina left Brooklyn, NY and relocated to Newark, DE., where she currently resides. Sarina only took trash bags full of clothes and her youngest son’s crib. She had to sell some of her material objects in order to provide for her three sons. This is when Sarina began to realize how materialistic and shallow, she had become. Sarina was able to secure housing but was not always able to maintain it. During that decade one of her hardships caused her to be evicted and her sista-friend had to pay for her hotel stay. After funds ran out for the hotel Sarina and her three sons moved in with her mother in a two-bedroom apartment. This was a very challenging time in Sarina’s life. Sarina having to move back in with her mother caused her to slowly die inside. Sarina needed to be resurrected. The will to provide a stable life for her three sons helped her see the light.
The road that Sarina traveled opened her eyes and she became more humbled and grateful than she could ever imagine. Sarina was eventually able to secure and maintain housing. She became employed at a very lucrative job. Things were starting to look up for Sarina. Now was the time for her to emerge!
